Waiting on Wednesday (1)

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
Pub. Date: August 1, 2009
Publisher: Scholastic Press

Synopsis (from Amazon):
For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf--her wolf--is a chilling presence she can't seem to live without. Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human . . . until the cold makes him shift back again.

Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. It's her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human--or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.

Well this is my first time doing Waiting on Wednesday. I decided to go with Shiver. The only books I've ever read with werewolves in them were the Twilight series. After reading the Epilogue in Eclipse, told from Jacob's point of view, I decided that I wanted to try and read a werewolf book. Shiver just sounds sooooo good! I get my SAT scores tomorrow, if I score over a certain point, my mom is going to let me get two books of my choice. I very well might pre-order this. :)

Also, note that this is not the final cover.

Shiver does sound really good and it has been getting some pretty good reviews from other blogs. I'm really excited to read it. :)
