Ok, everyone. I won a bet with my mom, concerning my SAT scores, and now I can get three new books from amazon. Well, I'm having a very hard time choosing what I want. I'm already pretty sure I want Wake, but that still leaves two empty spots. Any suggestions?
Keep in mind I'm not a big fan of anything creepy. I'm still trying to coax my way into the whole vampire and zombie thing. So don't recommend those kinds of books.
I am open to pre-ordering a book, so if there is something that hasn't been released that you would like to read a review on, suggest it.

Since I'm new to your blog I'm not exactly certain what you like but here are three of my recent faves, they have no zombies or vampires!
Willow by Julia Hoban
The Season by Sarah MacLean
Going Too Far by Jennifer Echols
Can't wait to see what you pick!
Haha, I actually like creepy horror YA books sooo, hopefully I can suggest something you would want to read (besides WAKE).
I recommend:
-The Naming by Alison Croggon (if you like fantasy/adventure with a little romance thrown in).
-A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray (also kinda fantasy like).
-Deadly Little Secret by Laurie Faria Stolarz (check out the review for this on my page: http://tainted-poet.blogspot.com/2009/05/deadly-little-secret-by-laurie-faria.html )
Season and Going Too Far are actually on my wishlist! :) So I'm glad to hear you liked them. I have heard of Willow but would have to double check what it is about. Thanks for the recs!
Thanks for the recs Eli! I have been wanting to read Deadly Little Secret and A Great and Terrible Beauty.
Yay! I loved Willow, it's a really interesting book!
Sorry you're not into the Zombie thing, but The Forest of Hands and Teeth is brilliant, Going Too Far is another good one, There are so many good books out there. It's hard to choose.
I agree that The Forest of Hands and Teeth is an excellent book. If you ever get into zombie action, check it out! :)
I have actually been considering reading it, though I wouldn't buy it because I'd be too worried that I wouldn't like it.
Hmm, let's see:
- Perfect Chemistry (Simone Elkeles)
- The September Sisters ( Julian Cantor)
- The Book of Luke (Jenny O'Connell)
- The Truth About Forever (Sarah Dessen)
-This Lullaby (Sarah Dessen)
-Sweethearts (Sara Zarr)
-Perfect You (Elizabeth Scott)
- Wintergirls (Laurie Halse Anderson)
-When It Happens (Susane Colasanti)
Cracked Up To Be (Courtney Summers)
-The Adoration of Jenna Fox (Mary E. Pearson)
-The Scribbler of Dreams (Mary E. Pearson)
Have fun book shopping! ;D
Oh, your good! lol. I think all but one are on my list of books I want and I already own This Lullaby, though I haven't read it yet. The Truth About Forever is one of my faves.
I LOVE Scribbler of Dreams. Very Romeo and Juiet. I gave my copy to a friend though.
I really liked The House Of Night series (if you liked Twilight).
I liked Twilight well enough, but I'm still a little wary of the whole vampire thing. I would try reading one of the house of night books before buying.
-Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles (I keep hearing great things about that book).
-Scrambled Eggs at Midnight by Brad & Heather (this book is adorable! and it's realistic in the sense that there are no supernatural elements to it.)
-Tithe by Holly Black (do faeries fall under creepy? if not, I recommend this one!)
oh, Marked (house of the night) is really good. It's the second and third that aren't as good. I'm procrastinating reading the 4th.
